How Long Before All Trust is Lost in Google?

This is just a quick rant in order that I might just let off some steam, but who the hell do Google think they are?

After several emails backwards and forwards between myself and Google about discrepancies in my Adsense reports (explained in a recent post at Leave The Office), the result is that I just have to accept that Google are right, they never get anything wrong and that’s just the way it is. There’s no question of the fact that they may be required to prove the accuracy of their tracking and accounting software, yet they are very quick to suggest the possibility of invalid clicks etc…

So after deciding to let go of it and try not to let it get to me I noticed again today from my stats counter on MyBlogLog that I am still receiving regular clicks, which are not showing on my Adsense reports. Of course I am just a number somewhere out there in cyberspace, so of course what right have I to question Google almighty…

There… I can let go of it now, but I just want to end with a question, which I hope will, in some small way, eventually make a difference.

CAN GOOGLE BE TRUSTED?

An update…. already!

Amazingly, only minutes after publishing this post I received the following reply from Google to my last communication to them. I wonder if they read my post or I sent out some "vibes"?

Reply form Google:
Thanks for your suggestion on working with other companies to gain more

insight on how their click tracking softwares record clicks and

impressions. I’m happy to pass along your comments to our engineering and

product teams.

Suggestions and ideas like yours directly contribute to making AdSense

better. We appreciate your perspective and hope you’ll keep sharing it

with us in the future. Please also feel free to submit any future
